SEV initiated in response to reports of coastal flooding in Cork City, Ireland, following the passage of Storm Doris. Heavy rainfall potentially in combination with tides associated with flooding in the estuary areas of the city.

Storm Angus (Storm "Nannette")

Storm Angus was named on 19 November, with southern and southeast England, especially along the Channel coast expected to be the greatest affected areas as the storm moved northeast on 20 November. The storm was known as "Nannette" in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
